 Three Peaks Challenge July 2010

Your team of seven walkers will climb the three highest mountains in the UK - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon - within 24 hours and raise £5000 for the Mitchemp Trust. This will require good planning, preparation and sheer determination. You will be given a great deal of support along the way from experienced fundraisers to expert mountain guides. This exciting team challenge will not only test your ability to work together effectively but also present you with many personal challenges along the way.

"Thank you for a thoroughly well organised and excellent weekend. We are proud that we got everyone through and each of us feels we have achieved something for ourselves and the Mitchemp Trust." - Alex Hatfield, Chase De Vere

You will also need a support team, involving two drivers to transport you and your equipment around the country as well as keeping the team supplied with plenty of food and water.

Fitness plays a major part in the enjoyment of the event. The better your preparation, the more you will enjoy and succeed at your challenge. Advice on training and suitable equipment will also be sent to you.

Your fundraising will enable vulnerable children to experience the outdoors, build their self esteem, improve their self reliance and make a real difference to their lives. You will be given comprehensive fundraising advice when you register which will enable you to achieve your target or even beat it! Don't worry if this is your first time fundraising for a charity - many teams in the past have been surprised at how successful they've been.

If you have any questions about any aspect of the Three Peaks Challenge please contact Mark Davey.

This event is run in accordance with the Institute of Charity Fundraising Managers code of practice.

2004 Three Peaks Challenge Report
"From the muddy parking lot at Ben Nevis to the after party in Snowdon, it was honestly an absolutely awesome experience with memories I will always cherish. The whole event ran extremely smoothly (apart from the weather) and I would like to say a special thanks to The Mitchemp Trust volunteers, our individual support teams and the mountain guides (who sat in the cold and rain for hours to ensure our safety)."
